Talking at the PERIMETRY podcast

Josef Procházka

At the beginning of June, I was a guest at the podcast Perimetry from Lidové noviny / Lidovky.cz, where we discussed various topics. We touched not only on the shooting at the Faculty of Arts or the attack on the Slovak Prime Minister, but we also came across the line between ethics and business in the field of weapons and training, or what shooters actually think about in tense moments. Of course, we also talked about the work of a sniper as such or how VIP protection is carried out.

In the second episode, the podcast content escalated quite a bit. I remembered how we survived a real attack on a mission in Iraq 20 years ago and how an unpredictable reaction and shooting through glass can save you. We also talked about how I, as a person, had to deal with the fact that it is necessary to eliminate the enemy and eliminate any danger on duty. We discussed many other interesting examples from practice in the performance of tasks during foreign missions.

Thank you very much for the invitation and for the interesting questions!
